Soundtrack Collaborations for Dragon Age 2

Game Review

Game Review
As you know, the Dragon Age: Origins soundtrack is, in my opinion, one of the most epic and beautiful pieces of music recently composed. Part one of the Dragon Age II soundtrack* will be available for purchase on March 8, 2011 at all digital music service providers worldwide for $3.99.

· Dragon Age II Main Theme
· Hawke Family Theme
· Qunari On The Rise
· Templars
· Love Scene
· Arishok
· Tavern Music
· Viscount
· Mages
· Fenris Theme
· Kirkwall Nights
· Rogue Heart

The song choice is interesting, because “I’m Not Calling You A Liar” is probably one of the most low-key songs on the sometimes bombastic Lungs (for example “Drumming Song” seems like it could be adapted quite easily to epic fantasy). Dragon Age 2 composer has this to say about the inclusion on G4 TV.

People are being familiarized with RPG mechanics in droves, whether they realize it or not. “For me, I guess, fundamentally, there are more people who are ready to play RPGs than realise it,” Mike Laidlaw told Gamasutra. “These are people who will play FarmVille. These are people who have shot enough people in the head that they’ve leveled up in Medal of Honor.
